Convergences and Challenges in Europe
Bridging Academic Research and Real-World Practice
The workshop "Theory and Practice of Sustainability: Convergences and Challenges in Europe" brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to examine work at the interface between theory and practice in sustainability.
The event will open with a roundtable bringing together academics and professionals, aimed at discussing the gaps between sustainability concepts and their implementation in organizational and territorial contexts. In the afternoon, parallel academic sessions will host presentations and discussions of accepted papers.
This workshop seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on investment decisions, market responses, governance mechanisms, and sustainability transitions, with particular attention to territorial and regional dynamics in Europe, including the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
